Once again Office for iPad suite has been updated by Microsoft with some great new features. Microsoft updated its Word, Excel & PowerPoint apps for iPad with some key features.
Some of major features introduced in Office for iPad 1.1 update, are PDF support, crop in-line pictures and use of third party fonts in documents.
Take a look below to know new features for individual app:
- Send PDFs: Send Word files as PDFs.
- Picture Tools: Crop Photos.
- Fonts: Now access Third-party fonts from Fonts menu.
Microsoft Excel for iPad:
- Send PDFs: Send Excel files as PDFs.
- Flick to Select: Easily select entire data of row or column.
Other features include External keyboard support, PivotTables, Better print options, picture tools to crop image, use of third-party tools.
Microsoft PowerPoint for iPad :
- Send PDFs: Send PowerPoint files as PDFs.
- Add or Edit Hyperlinks
- Presenter Tools: Erase highlights & drawings from presentation.
- Presenter View: View and edit speaker notes, see your next slide, or jump to other slides while presenting.
- Play Media: Play videos, sound effects, and background music while presenting.
- Insert Video
- Use of Third-party fonts
- Picture Tools to Crop Image
It is worth to note that these Microsoft Office apps are free to download but you need Office 365 subscription to have full experience.
