Now Watch TV Shows & Movies for Free Using Updated United Airlines iOS App

With latest iOS update in United Airlines app, Passengers can watch in-flight entertainment from their iPhone or iPad. TV shows & movies are delivered over "United_Wi-Fi” networks so users need to be connected to united airline's wi-fi network to access this feature for free.


United iOS app is also updated for iOS7 & its design is optimized for iPhone5 but it is compatible with iPad. Specialized iPad app is promised by United Airlines in 2014. In-flight entertainment streaming feature with around 150 movies & 200 TV shows has been also promised in February in its last press conference. so right now we don't have many new details regarding this feature.

Its android app still lacks this feature. It can be there at the end of year. If you don't have iOS device then you can also watch movies & TV shows either directly through the browser or with the help of a plugin. For now, though, only passengers on some air crafts will be able to use the system. It would be available first for Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Boeing 747-400 and some 777-200 aircraft.

Lufthansa and Virgin Australia already offer similar programs for tablets. Now United Airlines is in line with this airlines which provides some good entertainment by using some great features to their passengers.
