Festival season is over. Now It is time for preparations of Christmas & New Year. There is one festival which is celebrated by Christians who follow the traditional Church Calendar. They celebrate Advent which generally begins four Sundays before Christmas and lasts until midnight on Christmas Eve. Advent 2014 began from November 30 which make it 25 days long. Generally Advent vary in between 22 & 28 days.
One common Advent tradition is Advent Calendar. This is usually a laminated card or poster with windows that can be opened, one for each day of Advent, revealing symbols or images associated with anticipation of coming Christmas.
